How is this project coming along?

I can’t yet but will soon offer my skills as a mapper. I like making outdoor and underground maps so I will whip a few of them up if you want. I have a techie comin over in a few days to fix my comp, so I won’t pledge too much yet. I crash a lot lol and may need to reformat 
Ps how big are you talkin fer outdoor? like 10000 runits or what?
(btw I don’t know what measurements are used in the RuneEd so I call them runits)

We’ve got some mapping done, enough to launch a preliminary ‘world’. Right now we’re sitting on it because we really need someone who can rock the script. We’ve been waiting on Unter to return, but that was supposed to happen a long time ago… so right now, we’re on stand by. Still very much ready to make it happen, as soon as we have all the elements to make it work.
P.S.: Mano (or any other mod), would you remove SHADY’s comments and my replies to them? Neither belong on this thread. Thanks.

If you press chat the image above your head shows that you’re speaking, right? So why don’t you set an animation (cine_vil_talkingA, cine_vil_talkingB, cine_vil_talkingC or smthn) for that period? I guess it would look nice.

And I have a question. I bet you know how does it called when you’re unarmed. I want to set taunt animation ‘cine_vil_kneelidle’ on it. It would look great when someone would cut my hand and I would fall on knees and let him kill me. It is much better than just crouch. So, can anyone help me?

Diddo i have been playing rune lately.
Well, I still have all the maps and design sheets and all that. All we need is someone who can (and will) do the scripting, and of course hosting… but last time I checked, LCC could handle the hosting… I’m not 100% sure if that offer still stands or not, that’s up to them.
Unter had expressed interest and willingness to do the UScript when last we spoke, but I haven’t seen him in some time. If anyone sees him in the near future, you should let him know that we’d still like to see this happen.
People always come back to rune when they get sick of other games, it would be nice to have the rune world rdy when the BF2 and GW trend wears out.
I sure hope this will carry on to completion…
I am still into editor helping if you need any mapping done. Unfortunately mapping is the easy part so I imagine you have enuff already, but lemme know.

Getting all the maps re-organized and possibly revised might be a good idea to keep the project from completely stagnating.. and I guess we could always get a temporary version up without all the bells and whistles.
