Ventrilo is our very own voice chat server. If you’ve got a microphone
and speakers you can use this program. You don’t have to be a member to
use Ventrilo, it’s open to the public.

You can [download](http://ventrilo.com/download.php) it here.

After installation use the following params to connect to the server:

- IP: 65.39.207.180
- Port: 3784 [Default]
- Pass: [None]

You might have to do some tweaking of the program settings to suit your
machine. We can try to help if you’re having troubles, so feel free to
ask.

Be courteous to others while using the program, try to cut down on the
background noise and don’t use a microphone that records every sound,
everyone else gets your feedback.

Another tip is that if you do not own a headset, only a desktop microphone, please use headphones while talking/listening to avoid the dreaded “echo” effect.
