Did we clamp down on the channel for a particular reason?

it used to be frequented by many, now hardly anyone joins.
I guess ventrilo made it obselete?
I mean the chan-op only mode; might make it less accessible to the public.
We never needed to clamp down.

ya, i like it, but at the moment, i’m getting more people on MSN. 
but the chat feature makes for good impromptu get-togethers, and lets people know i’m around..

ok i know how to go in to the chat room and how to send messages once im there, i dont know shit about this q mumbo jumbo.i tried it but i couldnt figure it out nor get it to work so bleh anyways fill me in. oh and how do i get a fansy shmansy @ sign in front of my name!?!?!

do /msg [email removed] auth nickname password
i saw that you were capitalizing /MSG, make sure it’s lowercase
