UdÜ, Suggestion

How about making skins for LCC members, so we know who is who in the game. We like to fight as a team, which makes it really difficult to tell eachother apart when there are multiples in the server.

I don’t mean entirely new skins, just arm/back patches that say LCC to the existing skins, so how does that sound?

I would be willing to pull the job off if someone can extract all the player textures from the paks, my RuneEd is screwed up so I cant do it.

Or better yet, just use that logo on the main page. Patch the back of all the skins with it.

wow that would really be cool!

Yea it will be cool but also it means a huge download … btw it’s not the first time that we talked about the markedSkins. A modified skin will be 500Kb for others to download… we use about 5-7 skins, which is around 3 Mb of skins to download..prety scary for some1 who try to get on the server, heh??

Rigged this up a few months ago (see post). And if I remember correctly, the download was insignificant (I believe only the chest texture at c. 26kb.)

Something visible and modest; just a matter of applying it to all the players.

Best,

I remember thinking it looked a little “off” in the center of the chest, but a patch on the left was tricky.

Maybe we should go for the arms.

With Conjure v.2.0 by the way, they’ll be a radar-visualization of the players and their names. You can see who is who. Another possibility would be the VAS-ShowNames mutator which has a little bubble over everyone, but it reminds me a little too much of a dorky cocktail party with nametags.

lol, bubbles would be kinda cheesy.

The patch is transparent? What would solid look like…

That one there looks pretty good, lets go for it.
