Thanks. Now all I have to do is get the time to figure out what the problem is between XP and my ISP that has caused my ping to become so atrocious. As usual, Tech Help is neither technical, nor help.
Odd how they are supposed to help troubleshoot connections and the two I spoke with had no idea what TCP/IP was.

At first Welcome Sword. And than I want to inform you or better Unter, that I have the same laggy problems. I have Win2k and on other Servers I haven’t that much lag. I dont know why that is happening, but it is a little unnerving.
Concerning your problem Sword I would try to look how much programms are in the background, which processes are needed and so on. I had WinXp too and after a month the whole system was shit … Even NFS5 Porsche was so slow, that I thought to change back to my Cel433
I dont know what connection you have, but I would first say it’s Windows, than I would think on your ISP …
Greetings
Lord Wintermoon

If you could describe them more nearly, Wintermoon.

Try turning off dynamic lighting; between the glow-plant in the atrium with its particle system, the mushroom-strobes and the torch-lights there’s bound to be a heavy usage of system and network resources. Few other maps have been so ambitious with the light effects, perhaps for this very reason: that network and processor capabilities have yet to catch up with the full utilization of the UnrealEd engine’s horizons – though they are some years old.
